Reasons for SMT nozzle suction errors
As a common component of SMT machines, various problems may arise during operation, such as the inability to pick up, place, or install in the wrong position. So let's talk about the reasons and solutions for component extraction errors.
● The suction coordinates (X, Y) for "suction data" are set incorrectly. In the case of tray components, the setting of "component starting position and spacing" in "component data" becomes the initial value for data extraction. Therefore, the "starting position, spacing, and number of components" of the "component data" should be entered correctly.
Solution: Reset the suction coordinates (X, Y).
● The suction height (Z) for 'data suction' is set incorrectly. In this case, the suction nozzle cannot reach the component or cannot suck due to the reaction force generated by excessive pressure.
Solution: Reset the suction height (Z).
● The nozzle selection is incorrect. Especially when the component is large and the suction nozzle is small, it cannot be suctioned, or even if suctioned, the component will fall off halfway.
Solution: Select the nozzle again. Choose a suction nozzle that can securely suction components. Usually, based on the area of the component suction surface, a large suction nozzle is selected from the available suction nozzles.
● The setting of the "suction and pressing amount" for the "additional information" in the "component data" is incorrect.
Solution: Set an appropriate'suction and compression amount'
● The surface of the component is uneven.
Solution: In the "Expansion" of "Component Data," set the suction speed (descent or ascent) to medium or low speed.
● The 'transmission spacing' setting for 'component data' is incorrect.
Solution: In the "Packaging Form" of the "Component Data," set the "Conveyor Spacing" suitable for the belt.
